How it all began

Cobo began in 2017 with a focus on simplifying digital asset security.

Wallets, exchange accounts and trading tools often live in separate places. Cobo Wallet brings them into one desktop workspace, with Bitcoin and Ethereum assets alongside connected exchange balances.

Our AI assistant turns trading ideas into plans you can inspect. Once you approve a plan, it monitors conditions and executes within your limits, with activity you can review and automation you can pause.

2017

Cobo founded by Discus Fish and Dr. Changhao Jiang.
2018

Series A: $13M. PoS-enabled wallet launched.
2019

Wallet-as-a-Service introduced.
2020

Singapore headquarters established. Assets under management passed $100M.
2021

Series B: $40M, led by DST Global, IMO Ventures and A&T Capital. Custody assets passed $1.5B.
2022

NFT and DeFi products developed with MetaMask Institutional and Safe.
2023

SOC 2 Type 2 certification obtained.
2024
