Privacy Policy
Cobo Wallet, Inc. provides the Cobo Wallet website and desktop application. This Privacy Policy explains the information involved when you browse the site, use a wallet, connect an exchange or service, and use the AI assistant or trading automation.
1. Website data and preferences
The website stores your consent choice in your browser's local storage so the notice does not reappear after you accept it. This website does not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers. You can reset your choice using the control on this page or by clearing this site's browser data.
If you use the website support panel, you can enter a message and email address. For account-specific support, use Help in the Cobo Wallet desktop app. The service that delivers the website may process technical request information, such as an IP address, browser type and request time, to serve the page and maintain security.
The website does not ask you to enter a wallet recovery phrase, private key or exchange password. Do not put those details into the support panel.
2. Wallet and connected-account information
When you use the desktop application, wallet addresses, asset balances and transaction records are needed to show your portfolio and activity. Information on public blockchains may be visible to other participants and can remain available even if you remove the app.
If you connect an exchange, Cobo Wallet uses the scoped API credentials and account data needed to display balances and perform only the trading actions covered by your selected permissions. If you connect another service, its API key or webhook can be used for the function you enable and for connection status and recent-event displays. Each exchange or service has its own data practices and terms. Review its requested permissions before connecting it.
Cobo Vault hardware-wallet use is a separate signing path. The desktop application can prepare and track a transaction, while the hardware device signs it through the QR flow. The AI assistant does not receive your recovery phrase or an unrestricted wallet signing key.
3. AI assistant and automation data
The assistant uses the question you enter and the relevant portfolio, market and connected-venue context to answer it or prepare a proposed plan. A plan can include a venue, asset, amount, trigger, expected action and risk limits. Review this information before approval.
When you activate an automation, the application uses the approved plan and connected-account permissions to monitor conditions, initiate permitted exchange actions and show execution status and history. Pausing or revoking a workflow stops future actions under that workflow but does not erase records of actions already completed. The assistant cannot expand its approved limits without a new approval.
4. Sharing, retention and your choices
Data needed for an exchange, service or blockchain action is handled by the relevant network or provider under its own terms. External links, including social links, lead to services with separate privacy practices.
Your browser consent choice remains until you reset it or clear site data. Wallet and exchange activity shown in the app may depend on records maintained by public networks and connected providers. Disconnecting a service or removing the application does not remove those independent records.
You can review permissions at a connected provider, pause or revoke automation in the app, and reset the website consent choice. For questions about app data and available access, correction or deletion options, use Help in the desktop application. Rights and retention requirements vary with the information, the provider and applicable law. We will update the date above when this policy changes.
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Cobo Wallet website and desktop application. By downloading or using the application, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application. Features offered by connected exchanges or services may have additional terms, eligibility rules and restrictions.
1. Use of the service
You may use Cobo Wallet only where permitted by applicable law and only with wallets, accounts and credentials you are authorized to control. You may not use the website or application to interfere with a network or service, bypass permission controls, distribute harmful code or impersonate Cobo Wallet or another party.
The desktop application lets you create or import a software wallet, view assets and activity, connect supported account types, and configure assistant-driven trading workflows. Feature availability may depend on your operating system, asset network, connected provider and location.
2. Wallets, keys and transactions
You are responsible for protecting your recovery information, checking addresses and network selections, and reviewing a transaction before signing it. Blockchain transactions may be irreversible once broadcast or confirmed. Neither a support conversation nor an app display can undo a completed blockchain transaction.
When you use Cobo Vault, the hardware device remains the signer for transactions handled through its QR flow. The desktop application prepares and tracks the action. Connecting a hardware wallet does not transfer its signing authority to the AI assistant.
3. Exchange connections and automation
You decide which exchange account and permissions to connect. The application uses scoped API credentials for balance access and permitted trading actions. Keep credentials secure, review their scope at the provider, and revoke credentials there when you no longer want the connection.
An assistant-generated plan is a proposal until you review and approve it. Before activation, check its venue, asset, amount, trigger, budget, frequency, exposure or loss limits, duration and stop conditions. Once active, the assistant may monitor conditions and initiate exchange actions within the approved scope. You may pause or revoke a workflow. An action already sent to a connected provider may not be reversible merely because you pause, revoke or close the app. A proposed action outside the approved limits requires a new approval.
4. Third-party services and fees
Exchanges, blockchains, market-data sources and other connected services operate independently. Their availability, pricing, order execution, processing times, data and terms are outside the control of Cobo Wallet. Network fees, exchange fees and other provider charges may apply. Review the applicable charges and provider terms before approving a transfer or trading workflow.
5. Market information and risk
Balances, prices, assistant responses and plans are informational and may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. They are not personalized investment, legal or tax advice, and the assistant does not guarantee a trading result. Crypto assets are volatile and can lose value. An automated rule can execute during an unfavorable market move within the limits you approved. You remain responsible for your decisions, permissions, backups and compliance with applicable law.
6. Availability, intellectual property and liability
We may update the website, application, features and these terms. We may suspend or limit a feature when needed for security, maintenance or legal reasons. Where practical, the current terms and their update date will be posted on this page.
Cobo Wallet software, content, names and marks are protected by applicable intellectual property rights. These terms grant you a limited right to use the application for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership of the software or any mark.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and application are provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability, error-free information, trading performance or a particular financial outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law. Use Help in the desktop app for account-specific questions.
